Screencasting

Assignment Title: Screencasting

Uses in the Classroom: This tool can be used to provide basic instruction for students in the traditional classroom and online. It provides a means for instructors to demonstrate and explain different tasks and assignments.  Additionally, it is a tool that is used to help students learn more effectively.

The example provided below demonstrates to my math students how to properly login into MyLabsPlus. Also, instruction on how to maneuver around the application is made available to students.

Issues to Consider: Students will need to have the ability to access the internet, have a MyPittCC account set up by the school, a username, a password, and a MyLabsPlus access code. Additionally, students will need to be familiar with maneuvering around an Internet browser window. If these items aren't available for the students at home, they should be provided for them in the classroom.
